Roof Mount Design
This solar electric system is designed and mounted specifically for your roof. This design can work on residential, commercial, and large industrial buildings. This is usually the most cost effective method of installing solar power. Light weight steel rails are affixed to the roof and are the support structure for the solar panels. The solar panels are secured tightly and can withstand robust wind conditions.
Ground Mount Design
A ground mount design is supported by a steel structure and installed on your grounds. The panels are tilted at an angle that best absorbs solar radiation for your location. These mounts are usually fastened to a concrete footing.
Pole Mount Design
This type of mount is placed in the ground. A single steel pole can be designed to hold up to 10 solar panels or more. Pole mounts allow easy angle adjustments for different times of the year.
BIPV
“Building Integrated Photovoltaics”, BIPV, is an installation type where the photovoltaic cells also serve as a functionary application in the building envelope. BIPV can consist of solar shingles that interlock with roof shingles and provide a seamless integrated look. Other common BIPV designs include solar panels serving as the building’s awnings or semi-translucent solar windows. BIPV is gaining wide appeal in modern architecture because of its elegant look and power generation feature.
